Scratch Disk Format

I have a Intel Based Mac Pro using Bootcamp. I have CS2 Installed in MAC version on drive 1 formated in MAC OS Extended, Drive 2 is a Windows Drive (NTFS), Drive 3 is a "shared drive" where I store data in FAT32, I assume I should format my scratch drive in MAC OS, but can not find any good information on that subject. Any help?
