Years ago when using Photoshop 5.5 there was a check box in the history brush dialog box called "impressionist brush." I need to simulate that effect in CS2 as closely as possible. Does anyone know how to closely replicate that effect in CS2 using history brush or art history brush. Thanks for any help with this ….

Curious why Adobe dropped this effect? Does Corel have something similar? Does anyone in your family build sailboats? cs

Have you got a Wacom tablet? Chances are you’ll have Painter Classic or whatever they call it now in the box.

The tool is still there as the "art history brush"
