CS2 installation dies after InstallShield Wizard dialog

I can’t get installation to continue beyond the InstallShield Wizard dialog. The CD continues to spin for about a minute, then nothing. This is an upgrade CD, in it’s original sealed retail box. I have a licensed copy of CS installed. My computer has 1 gb of RAM and an Athlon XP2300+ processor. I have Win2K, SP4. There is no antivirus running. I shouldn’t have any trouble with installation.

Ideas? Suggestions?

Copy the Photoshop folder to the HDD and try to install from there.
