Nikon Card Reader no longer works under OSX 10.3.4

I have a coolpix 990. When I inset a memory card into the reader it no longer shows up on my desk top, nor in Nikon view 6.2.2. I don’t know if this was also the case with Jaguar; never had occasion to try it.) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is the reader old??

I had an old Lexar reader that would not work with Panther but worked with Jag.

If the reader has Jump-Shot on it forget it…trash it. If not go to Lexar’s website and download driver.

I’d buy a firewire card reader instead:

Cards are just weird sometimes. One of my cards works on a CP5000 but not on a D100.
