Upgrading Photoshop 5.0 to CS

We have a G5 with Mac OS 10.3.4. w/ 768 RAM. When I installed my Photoshop 5.0 I lost some of the functions because it ran on the Classic Structure OS.
Maybe these are dumb questions, but is it possible to upgrade 5.0 to CS and if so will it run correctly? Thanks.
