I just installed cs2 upgrade – went ok, as did activation. But the various CS2 shortcuts, identifiers, you typically run into didn’t appear on my desktop. I looked in Programs – only CS. I tried to open CS as I used to – it opened as always. No CS2 identifiers/components, etc. So I figured – maybe need to shut down and reboot. Did so – Windows XP starts to load then goes to a black screen and never recovers. Reboot again – into safe mode – only safe with networking even boots up. Try to recover to previous states (pre CS2 install as well as earlier ones). They appear to run ok – the computer thinks it has recovered. But with reboot I come back to the same cyclical problem — XP goes blank, reboot to safe mode.
I can’t find anyone at Adobe with any ideas. At the the momement I am SOL it seems. Anyone had similar issues? Or ideas?
