It’s called Browse under the Photoshop File menu and comes with Photoshop (from CS on).

Thanks Malcolm. I tried this but nothing
happens. Is there something else I should
do?

Peter, I can’t think of anything else but sometimes Bridge is a bit slow to open particularly if the files it was previously pointing to are not available – I know you have never opened Bridge but have you waited say 1/2 minute? Apart from that I have no other ideas.

On your task bar (CS3), the first icon on the left side of ‘Workspace’.
BR with a magnifying glass on it. The cursor should display ‘go to Bridge’.

If we are talking a Windows PC search for "bridge.exe". Should be under Program files\Adobe
