i have never used photoshop and am trying to edit some underwater photos. i downloaded an action and figured out how to put it on the action pallette but have no clue how to use it. any help would be greatly appreciated.the help files do not tell how to use an action.

Take the Action Palette. If you have the action in a folder, click the little arrow in front of it and it will expand and you will see the individual actions or steps.
Try with the default folder, it contains several actions… Choose one and click on the little arrow on the bottom of the palette. Everything else works on its own, that means your image layer goes through all the steps you can see …
