After thinning out the Startup file (via Start>Run>msconfig>Startup) by unchecking some of the unnecesary startup items, I have found that the Photoshop CS browser takes longer to display images on its first access. I suspect I may have unchecked a file in the Startup that is the cause. (At present The Adobe Gamma Loader is checked, but I unchecked VersionCue Tray since I do not use it.) Is there a file in the startup list that may affect the delay in the first use of the browser? Could there be another cause for this delay?
