Photoshop with windows XP Pro

Hi,

When I run Photoshop, when inialising, at the end it shuts down. I can’t start it and I have no error message. If you have an idea, can you help me? Thank you for your response

I have seen Photoshop (and many other programs, including Microsoft Office) do this after Service Pack 2 was installed. Uninstalling the service pack fixed the problem.

Can you explain this a little berr?
I am not sure what you are talking about. I use Adobe Cs on XP Pr with service pack 2 and have no problems at all.

I have seen Photoshop (and many other programs, including Microsoft Office)
do this after Service Pack 2 was installed. Uninstalling the service pack fixed the problem.

i have found that certain issues with xp sp2 will cause multiple programs not to work.

the fix is easy, right click the shortcut and click properties. click on compatibilty at the top.

checkmark run this program in compatabilty mode for:

then select windows 95.
click apply and okay and try opening it now.
