using CS2 with XP professional, lots of space and ram.
i have made several of the recommended adjustments for making CS2 run a little better
with good results.
now the only thing that is ridiculously slow is using the eye dropper tool. when using it by itself to sample a color, or within other tools (Replace Color, Select using Color Range, etc.)
it appears that there is a lot of ‘thinking’ before the color is sampled.
in all previous versions of Photoshop, this was never a big deal.–in fact, instantaneous.
Is there a setting i can tweak? Bug? Does anyone else have this problem?
thanks in advance, – big john
