When I try to run the levels (either by pulling down or key command) the curser turns into the eyedropper tool and locks photoshop up. All the menus are greyed out and I have to force quit.

I’m using CS with a Mac powerbook G4 (1.5GHz w/2gb ram and 80 gb hard drive) OS X 10.4.8 I do only have 3gb of space left on my hard drive and wondered if that could be the issue?

thanks,
kathi

Try trashing your preferences first. And get a larger drive.

Ouch.

Seriously.

Get another big honkin’ hard drive. You REALLY need it.

What’s probably happening with your current problem is that your Levels dialogue window is off-screen. (Have you recently ditched a second monitor, or greatly reduced the resolution on your main monitor?).

Trashing your prefs should bring it back to the center of your main screen.
