Photoshop and Premiere issue?

Does anyone know of any problems running Photoshop 6 and Premiere 6? A few weeks ago I installed a Premiere demo, and PS started hanging when it loaded, or crashing after loading. The Premiere demo ran out, and I uninstalled it. I also deleted the PS preference file as recommended on the Adobe support page. After that. PS ran fine. I recently got the full version of Premiere, and now I am having the same PS issues. Is there something I am missing? Are their preference files in conflict or something?
