I am not able to pull pictures from the web into Photoshop. I used to be able to just right click on picture then "save picture as" and bmp. and just enter it as My Pictures or on C drive and they would be there for me when I opened Photoshop.

For some reason, this procedure no longer works.
Now when I go thru the same procedure and I hit File > open and open a picture, I get one of the following 2 messages:

"…could not open C documents because the file-format cannot parse the file."

"Could not open because reading differential JPEG files is not implemented."

And for the record… I am not using these pictures in any way that violates any copyright laws or anything like that. I am saving photos of products on websites for possible purchasing by Purchasing Dept. Any idea as to how I can once again easily save these picture files?

Thanks.

Not using AOL browser, or MSN Explorer?

Assuming Internet Explorer, try deleting browser cache. If it is full, can cause files not to download fully.

This won’t help images already downloaded, though.
