Hey all. I was wondering if there was a way to build your own loadable palettes of colors. It would be great if I could assemble certain color themes, or colors that I like and use often, and load them when I need them. I know you can save a swatch, but I havent been able to find a way to save a palette. I am using Photoshop 7. Thanks and dont forget, dont lick the curly ones.

Yes – just make some swatches and save them. You can use the preset manager to rearrange the order, save subsets, etc.

Hey Donnie, just to elaborate on chris’ idea, have a look at this Any Screen Color Picker and Swatch maker tutorial I have posted.

There are other ways to achieve this through Idex Color Mode/ and Custom Color Tables per image through the ‘Image’ menu option
and witin the ‘Save For The Web’ control palette.

Nevertheless hope the link helps you.

Thank you. That is exactly what I was looking for. Im looking forward to creating sort of themed color sets, to make doing original art a little easier.
