joining two paths into one

Couldn’t find this in the help files. When I align the end point of one path with the start point of a second path, how do I join them into one path?

MacBook Pro 16” Mockups 🔥

Don’t align them.

Instead, with the Pen tool, click on one point. Then click on the other point. It’s that simple; now they’re joined.
