Is there a FAQ on this problem? I’ve upgraded recently to Photoshop
7.01…(I WILL NOT get Photoshop CS upgrade and probably won’t be
getting any more Photoshop upgrades because of the activation technology) but I’ve been noticing a problem with images using the Photoshop icons. For example, I’ve noticed that when I try opening a Windows Explorer instance which has all my jpegs, bmp, that the directory opens very slowly and they’re using the Photoshop 7 hi res icons. If I keep that window open too long…I get a Windows error message which forces that directory window to close. It seems the only way I can see the directory is through Photoshop 7’s file browser or a third party file browser which can handle such large quantities of bmp, stc. But I’ve been wondering if there is a workaround that can fix this Photoshop 7 hi res icon issue causing Windows Explorer windows to crash if they open directories with alot of image icons in them.
Thanks in advance.
