Because I want to make much better prints, I want to have the proper Color Management settings. I am unable to do this because when I attempt to choose Color Settings the program freezes. The same is not true in Photoshop Elements 2 (which I also have).
Should I reinstall, or what do you suggest, please?

Sounds like you have a corrupt profile.

Try recreating your monitor profile.

But a re-install may be in order to ensure you have the proper (uncorrupted) profiles.

I am having similar problems. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Everytime I select the eyedropper tool and then select a color, Photoshop freezes. What should I do? How do you recreate a monitor profile?
