Hi,

just want to know what’s the adequate color setting to chose in photoshop in order to work for European (Belgium) pre-press.

Thanks

Unless Belgian prepress is much more standardized than North American, I suspect that the color profiles will vary according to the printing company and its equipment. Perhaps you could contact the printer you plan to work with.

Fred Euroscale version 2 (Coated or uncoated as applicable) should be fine unless you are looking for CRITICAL colour accuracy – in which case you will need a custon priofile for the actual output device.

Would be interesting:

Does any Print&PressMan supply a custom profile for the customer’s paper ?
Don´t think so – he has to ADJUST his process acoording to a common profile like Euroscale Coated (and to tell his choice the customer).
