Saving in flopy disc, my pics came out very bad

I am using photoshop 6.0.1, When I save my work in flopy disc and sent it to the lab, the pictures came very bad, look like a 5×3.5 pics was enlarger at 20 x 30. I scanned at 72, save inf jpe the original and my work is saved in psd. I had scaned picts 4 x 6 and I ask the lab to print 4 x 6, 5 x 7 and 8 x 10, all of them look horribles.

You will never get a good print scanning at 72 ppi-must scan at least 200 ppi and 300 is best.
