Problems Saving Web Graphics

I am using Windows NT and Adobe Photoshop 6.0.

I’m trying to save an image as a web graphic but Photoshop 6.0 shuts down when I browse for the correct folder or when I rename the file. I crop my image, change the dpi and then hit "Save for Web". When I hit OK, Photoshop 6.0 quits, sometimes saying that there’s an unknown error. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop 6.0, but nothing changes.

If anyone has any input, I would be very greatful!

Try resetting the preferences <http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx?50@@.ef4a07f>.

and no need to change the d(ppi) if you’re using save for web. S4W strips out the resolution data.
