Hello. I tried to install Photoshop 6 & illustrator in my new OS of windows XP. I could used both for a while but as soon as I upgrade the OS, niether of them stopped working. I can not even open the program. I tried re-installing, but it did not work. At the end, I had to reinstall OS and then, re-installed photoshop & illustrator. It seems like as long as I don’t upgrade the system, the programs run.
Did anyone have the same trouble like me? Can anybody help? Thank you.

Dave,

Tsugaya COULD be talking about installing a service pack for XP……

Hello dave & LenHewtt. Thanks for your aadvice. Sorry my problem was not clear. I bought a new computer, which came with windowsXP. First, I had trouble installing programs, such as Photoshop&Illustrator but somehow, oneday, I could install them. they were working fine until I had Windows Service Pack and some other updates of XP. So, to solve the problem, I had o reinstall windows XP(clean out all stuff once and still did not install so did twice) and I could install the programs. If I update the Windows system before I install the programs, they won’t install. I don’t know if this is the program’s problem or Windows problem. I just wonder if anyone had a same trouble like me.
