Probably because Adobe doesn’t announce when a new version is coming out so they can sell as many of the old version as possible first. That happened to me a couple of years ago. They announced a new version a week after I bought the old one. Hopefully some on here will have picked up news are rumors before adobe announces so that such mistakes can be avoided. Tats the purpose of newsgroups-hopefully to get the news first.
