CS2 & Vista error when saving JPG

Not sure its a VIsta thing

WHen I go to save a 8bit RGB file as a JPG, I get an error that says "could not complete your request because of a program error."

Its been working fine til today.

Any help??

Does this happen if you create a new file and try to save as JPEG? (that’ll rule out some metadata issues)

Have you tried creating a new user on the system and seeing if it works for the new user? (that rules out system settings and some preferences)
