I know most people have gone on to CS3/4 but I’m still with CS2 and WinXP (SP3). I’ve been noticing the last few weeks my brushes are kind of jittery and lag just a tiny bit making small accurate brush strokes a bit of a pain. I can’t think of anything new or different in my system that would account for this. I thought maybe it’s always been this way but, no, I figure if it’s this notable then something must be going on.

There down’t seem to be a lag in Painter, though.

The only thing I can think of is I recently upgraded my XP from SP2 to Sp3 … is there something in service pack 3 that may have affected CS2?

Running Acer Veriton, Intel duo core 2.6 gb processor, 22.5 gig ram, Intel integrated video card, Samsung SyncMaster 204b monitor

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks, R Mohr

I use AVG anti-virus …

Not only are my brushes just ever so jittery, but the Lasso selection tool also. I forgot to mention above I’m using a Wacom Intuos (can’t remember if i ever updated the driver)
