I made a PSD file that’s 2560 x 1600 pixels that I want to use as a screen background for a Windows XP machine. I can’t seem to figure out how to make my Photoshop file into a Windows Bitmap or JPEG that can be used as a background. I’ve tried a few converting programs with no luck.

I’m willing to pay a small amount to get a program that can make the transformation.

Thanks for any help,
Andy

If you want the file for a background, make sure your image mode is 8-bit and RGB. If it is 16 or 32 bit then jpeg will not be available.

I think the question you should be asking is. If you paid a small fortune (or did you) for Photoshop and you do not know how to do the basics why did you bother buying it (or did you).
