Ok I checked the FAQs for this and deleted the preferences file in both Photoshop and Image Ready. I opened the file I was working on Friday in IR and messed around with it a bit. No problems, so I decided to flip over to Photshop and mess around there. I used the edit in… function out of semi lazieness to open PS.
No sooner do I zoom in and put eraser to picture do I get the dreaded error message. You know the Cannot continue due to program error (or whatever it says exactly).
So now what?
I’m running CS on an XP SP2 machine. I have plenty of RAM and a big enough HD. In fact, I had this problem months/couple years ago? and fixed it and it worked fine after that. But now I delete the preferences file, boot up the programs and basically, can’t use them.
UM this is a huge problem for me for several reasons.
