New To PhotoShop- is there any way to make a photo transparent or semi transparent in order to overlay it on another object. TIA freewill

Hi,

It all depends on what you mean by transparent.

The obvious answer is to Paste the one you want on top of the other. Then reduce the Opacity of its Layer, so that you can see the bottom layer through it. Its White parts will still be White, and will partly obscure the underlying image, unless you "Erase" them.
