I’m running PS CS3 under Win XP Pro.
Today I tried to import the metadata from some of my XMP files into a new set of TIFFs and JPGs, but with zero success.
Each time, I went to "File," then "File Info," and clicked on the upper right hand arrow/triangle icon button to call up my list of stored XMPs. Once the list of XMP titles was open, I’d select a title but the empty "Description" boxes ("document title," "author," "description," etc.) remain empty.
This problem has developed quite suddenly: Only two days ago I was able to import some of the very same metadata into other photos without a hitch.
What’s going on? And how do I fix it?
