Is Color Plus a reasonable product to purchase (about $100) for calibrating monitors? Now I am using Adobe Gamma.

Looks like this is a Colorvision product with a hardware calibrator, right? If so, it will likely do a much better job than Gamma. I’ve used their Spyder for 3 years now and recommend it, though the more expensive Gretag-Macbeth Eye-One is now a better product (but maybe not worth the extra $$ to you).

Adobe Gamma is a good idea and better than not calibrating at all, but a couple of the key parameters must be set by eye and I could never get this quite right myself. As soon as I started using the Sypder I got a much better match between monitor and prints.
