OK .. What am I missing … Line tool question

This may seem like a simple question, but I can’t find the answer. I have PhotoShop Elements 3.0 now. I can’t find the line tool. Where is it?

Click and hold the custom shape tool (the speech balloon) and you’ll see it.

….in addition to what Barbara said… the toolbar shows the icon of the most recently used tool in that group, until you use another tool in the group. So next time it may not be the speech balloon.

Yeah, I think I spend most of my time in Elements trying to figure out which icon to click on!

There should be a common element about the related icons so that you have some recall about which ones are grouped together. Maybe just a hint (just a hint) of color or a common border or something so that it’s easy to figure out which icon you’re looking for. Any ideas?
