I have a 2d banner on one layer that has some bends to it. I can take my pen tool and create a path that reflects the bend. I want to take an image on another layer and match it’s bend to that path, to give the idea of the image being on the banner. How do I do that? Been playing with the warp tools, but they’re not really helping as much as I was hoping.

– 12 scenes

– 48 MacBook Pro 16″ mockups

– 6000 x 4500 px

The normal way to do this is through displacement maps – you can find heaps of tutorials through Google, but here’s a couple:
