Eliptical circle path not round

Im using PSCS2 and am trying to make a circle using the pen tool and clicking elipse tool. I make my circle which is perfect but when I load it as a selection and then make a path from selection my circle is no long perfectly round but abit flat in one spot which is very obvious when you stroke the path or enter type around the edge of the circle its abit wonky in one spot. Can anyone help with this?

I’m not sure what you mean with "make a circle using the pen tool and clicking elipse tool".

If you make a circle with the elliptical marquee and convert it to a path it will be rough and ready as you found.

A better approach is to use the Custom Shape tool with "Paths" selected in the Options bar. This will give you a perfect circular path.
