Photoshop Elememts3 import photos

Adobe Photoshop Elements 3. Attaching a card reader with the memory card from camera to the computer, automatically starts an Adobe program which imports the pictures and then automatically starts Photoshop Elements. I would like to turn off this Adobe importing program, but I can not find the executable file that runs this import program. How can I prevent it from starting?

On the Elements 3 "Organizer" screen click on — Edit
Preferences
Camera or Cardreader
then de-select "Use Adobe to get photos … etc
