borders on prints

Using Photoshop Elements3.0, windows,HP2600 printer. On 4×6 prints 3

borders ok, 4th border 15/16in wide.What should I do ?

Look at the printer settings to see what kind of paper it thinks it is using. If that doesn’t fix the problem an inexpensive paper cutter is certainly an option.

Sidney,

Your border problem could be a result of the minium margin necessary for the HP to print. You don’t say if you’re using 4×6 cut sheets or full 8×10 to cut down.

Not familiar with your particular printer, but if it doesn’t print edge to edge, that’s probably the issue.

With Photoshop Elements 2 and Canon S200spx borders (selected in Elements print preview) often don’t print or print incompletely. This may happen more with larger files. Printing in centre of A4 using only about half page. 1G RAM. No problem, apart from slow speed, if photo is placed in pmaker 6.5 and border drawn there. Photo files average 2Meg.
Any clues?
