Hello I need to find the formula for changing file sizes without losing, clarity. Using Windows XP Photoshop Elements 2. Example Pixel dimension 6.15 mb, width 1792 pixels height 1200 pixels. Document size W= 24.889 H= 16.667. Resolution 72 ppi. I want to send this at a sign no more than 55kb. What would I change with regard to the 55kb size. Thanks Very Much. I know I have a lot to learn and I’m trying. Cliff

Use the save for web feature . I would resize the width to no more than 800 pixels and let the height fall where it may. At this point you can use the quality slider adjustment to get to your required 55kb size. The file size is shown in the right hand image.

Have A Nice Day, 🙂
