Can’t edit scanned images

When importing scanned image of a photo, am unable to edit the image after the scan. Using PE2.0, Windows XP.

Are you closing the TWAIN driver software ? That is the only time I’ve had a problem editting, when I’d inadvertently left the TWAIN app running. Can you save the image and then re-open it and edit ?

Yes, using twain driver (canon scanner). If I save the image (using another software program), then bring it into PE2.0, I can edit it…problemoccurs only when I import the scanned image into PE2.0 directly.

You solved my problem! I closed the scanner and was then able to edit the imaginable…
