Trying to run Adobe’s CD Introduction to Adobe Photoshop 2.0 on Mac G-4 with OS 10.2.8. When I hit "Lesson 1" Safari opens even though Explorer is the default browser. A Safari dialog box states, "Plug In not Supported, Windows Media Player may be able to display." It does not. How do I work around this problem? I want, finally, to learn Elements.

Ted,

Although someone here may be able to offer some help, if this is the CD that Adobe sends to you, total training, I’d just forget it about and try other ways of learning PSE. Last year a lot of questions came up on the forum about this CD and most of those using a Mac we’ve had nothing but problems with that CD and if you solve one problem another one pops up.

The source of the problem may be with Windows Media Player and when I spoke to someone at Total Training they said that WMP was not their first choice but Adobe requested it.

Ted,

The best way to learn is to try a tutorial or two. A couple of good sites for tutorials are:

<http://www.arraich.com/elements/psE_intro.htm>
<http://myjanee.home.insightbb.com/tutorials.htm>

If you get stuck then there is always someone here who will help you out.
