How do I blend a picture of somebody I cut out of a picture, and put into another picture with grass.

The person looks like they are setting above everthing, the person is setting, how do I bring the grass up to meet their body, so it looks like they are planted in the grass.

Thanks Ronnie

Ronnie,

One way would be to gently erase some of the "lowest" part of the person that is sitting on the grass, so that it looks as if they are behind some of the blades of grass.

Depending on the lighting angle, you may want to also consider simulating the person’s shadow.

Generally, you manipulate monocular depth cues. Less obtusely: 1 – Make sure the person and the scene are the same scale. 2 – Make sure the lighting on the person and the scene is the same — this includes casting shadows from the person onto the scene.
3 – Interpose material in the scene so that it appears to lie between the person and the ‘viewer’ — in your case, if grass is the only object, put some grass in front of the person.
