I require help for tutorial relating to advanced blending. I want to do Film type posters. I know HOW to blend, using Layer masks and gradients.
and also soft brushes with layer masks.

I also want know knwo how to put it all together LIKE in the posters below. (Look intricatly at the blending on some of the more heavly blended posters below)

But I want these particular effects in the images below.

I have searched the web, but only found SIMPLE poster tutorials.

Hey denim…

This is just my opinion, but if you know how to use layer masks, then you have all the mechanical means at your disposal to make art like the posters you show, provided suitable images are available to you. Yes, it would be helpful to have a step-by-step "build diary" of one of those posters, but remember that their effectiveness is the result of much more than skillful compositing. Movie posters are produced on a relatively large budget, by groups of acutely talented people. Much of the drama in those images is the product of artistic vision combined with top-notch photography. The final image is constructed primarily using methods you already know.

The September "Photoshop User magazines"…page 18, by Kelby & Nelson called "The Hollywood Two-Photo Blend" looks like the Robert Mitchum (oldie) layout.
