I am doing a business card for someone and part of their logo has some gold foil looking lines plus text. How can I duplicate that look using Photoshop cs2 or 3? Tried scanning it but it comes out terrible. Kind of black looking. Thanks for any help. Here’s the logo <http://www.clothingtruck.com/sample_logo.jpg>

Is it just the muddyness you want fixed or what are you after? going into levels and adjusting the highlight slider brings up the color to start with, but i am not sure what your end goal is.

By the sound of it, the logo may be printed with gold ink – something an ink-jet can’t do.

To get the gold effect do a web search for "gold text effect"

Here’s an example: <http://www.actionfx.com/pfree-addons.html>

Yes, the logo is printed with gold ink. I’ll try the search. Thanks.
