Hi,

In the app itself, you can find a Workspace in the upper right under ‘Essentials’. Or Windows> Workspace> What’s New in CS4.

"reasonstoupgrade"
hmm, just by reading this, does not sound very compelling, yet cost more than previous upgrades.
Of course I did it immediately.
see my other thread on how that focus blend wasn’t so great yet.

"Windows> Workspace> What’s New in CS4"
hmm, i went there and nohting shows up except some specific workspace. That doesn’t teach me much.

yet cost more than previous upgrades.

I seem to recall that the upgrade to CS3 cost just the same.

I should take it back I’m sure all this stuff is excellent. I’m groused cuz I dont get to use the openGL features. Much to my surprise my G5 2.5 only has 128MB video ram

The workspace highlights the menu items that have new functionality, same as CS3.

For in-depth information\learning resources don’t use this. It’s intention is not to be a teaching tool, but an indicator where new, moved or improved menu items reside.

I was just responding to the fairly specific ? of where is ‘what’s new’.

I did not know you could reveal even that much as a beta girl?

Do you have a web site so I can see who’s gonna carve me up?

Can you say anything about this thread:
CS4 blend several focus layers not too good yet?

I did not know you could reveal even that much as a beta girl?

NDA expired with the imminent release of CS4

And it would be horribly messy!

Beta testing, or the killing? Or both? πŸ™‚

There is a plug in on the Adobe site that will allow PS CS4 to red older cards there is no guarantee you will be able to use the Open GL features but it might work for some people.
