Hello, i am new here…

would like to know how to make a texture filter, which is what i believe this is called…

under the filter menu there is one call texture, which has a list of textures, i want to make one and add it to the list so i can select it…

can this be done? and if so how….thank you

Go to Filter—>Texture—>Texturizer…

In the "Texture" drop down menu, choose "Load Texture…"

In the Open/Save dialogue that comes up, navigate to any image file that is in a PSD format.

(This is per Photoshop 7.0.1. I don’t know if other image formats have been enabled in newer versions.)
