I apologize for a dumb question, but I accidently turn off the "percent size" indicator located in the lower left corner of the screen and I don’t remember how to turn it back on. Can you help?

Go to the Window menu and click on the Status Bar option which is at the bottom of that menu.

The question is not dumb and the answer is so easy … but only if you know where to look. 😉 If you go to the main menu and click on "Window" a drop down appears and the second from the last is called "Status Bar". Click on that then I suspect your problem will be solved.
