PShop (CS2) Toolbox won’t open

The program appears to open ok, but the toolbox functionality is limited to the hand tool. I click on any tool, and its’ symbol shows in the bar to the far left. But it does not appear in symbol form or functionality on the image. The hand tool symbol and function remain. This occurs about every fourth time I open the program. I have gone all the way out, in a variety of steps, all the way to shutting down the computer and coming back in. Once I get this resolved, I’ll just leave the computer on, and the program loaded. "Talk to the hand" indeed… Help.

Before you do that, hit Caps Lock and see if that changes it.

I, like many people, prefer the sized cursors over the pictures. Caps Lock toggles them.
