Can’t rotate in CS3

Trying to Transform…Rotate a selection in a tif file in CS3. It skews instead. Even happens when I enter a numeric value to rotate. The Skew tool distorts the file. I had been using PS7 until last week when I was forced to buy an Intel-based Mac. Had no problems at all. Any clue?

Don’t choose skew choose rotate

I did choose rotate. It skews. When I choose skew, it distorts. Neither skew nor rotate work properly. Maybe I wasn’t clear. Sorry.

trash your prefs. it works correctly for me.

you can usually rotate if you choose scale
