CS-2 Version 9.0.2 – "Help" will not work

Please assist me if you can.
I have worked with CS-2 for a couple of years.
I have an XP driven PC with 2 Gb of RAM and a few HD’s
I tried to open PS Help and I get an error message: Adobe Help cannot start;Model subsystem returned this error: 1146

0x00864a4d refrenced memory 0x00ed0b08. The memory could not be written. OK to terminate?

I de-acrivated CS-2; I un installed and re-installed.
Same problem?

Try downloading the help package update for cs2 from Adobe http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/
And follow the instructions to install it

Have you installed all updates? Have you tried manually downloading the updated Help files and installing exactly in accordance with the instructions?

Please disregard the previous question. I have gone through the process one more time and lo & behold everything is functioning once again. Must have been a bad download of the updates after installation on th first go round?

have downloaded the ‘help center help’ and that’s what i get. i need photoshop help. four downloads, meticulous file management. i don’t see what i’m doing wrong. advice, pls & tx
