I just moved to the intel-based system…on my old powerbook the RULER was always on in all opened images…NOT any more…I don’t see any switch in PREFERENCES…I go into VIEW>Rulers to turn it on for the immediate image…how do I get it set as a default?

thanks, –bill

open an image, select cmd + R, save the image and all your next images should be opening with the rulers.

Hide the rulers with the last open image, and after saving and closing the next images all should open without the rulers.
