I’m using PSCS2 9.0.2 and for some reason the "File Browser" option is missing from my "Windows" pull down menu…and when I click "Browse" under the "File" menu, nothing happens.

Also, when I click update, I get an error that reads I need to install Adobe Bridge and Adobe Stock Photos 1.0. I looked in my program files and both of those folders appear under the Adobe file, but NOT in the Photoshop CS2 file. Are they supposed to?

Here are screen shots of what my current Adobe folders contain…perhaps someone can see if I’m missing anything.

C:\Program Files\Adobe

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Bridge

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Stock Photos

Any help would be GREATLY apreciated.

Thanks

Adobe Bridge replaces the File Browser in CS2.

when I click "Browse" under the "File" menu, nothing happens.

Have you got Bridge correctly installed?

Well, that’s the million-dollar question, isnt it. I posted the links to the screen shots because I DONT KNOW if I have it correctly installed!

For instance…is Bridge supposed to be located in the PSCS2 folder?? Because mine is not…it is located in the Adobe folder.

I was hoping somone could look at THEIR program files and tell me if mine are askew.

UPDATE…PROBLEM SOLVED.

I was able to re-install both Bridge and Stock Photos by downloading them from the Adobe website. The strange thing is…NOTHING looks different in program files from before the re-install?? But obviously it wasn’t installed correctly the first time.

Oh well, Bridge is working now, and so is the "Updates" feature…and that’s all that I cared about.
