Replacement for Home Edition 3.0

I give up trying to make photo shop home edition3 work in windows XP. Would anyone recco a replacement such as this elements (seems a little pricey for fun stuff to do with photos)but might be worth it. I would appreciate any input. Thanks

I am not familiar with Photo Shop Home Edition 3 but I think you would be pleased with Elements. Elements can be purchased in a bundle with Album at an attractive price.
